Utilizing eight drive bays, this RAID array houses one 1TB 2.5" SSD in each bay. Preconfigured in RAID 5, the Shuttle SSD also supports RAID 0, 1, 10, and 50. A Thunderbolt 3 interface provides transfer speeds up to 2800 MB/s, and can also be used with USB 3.2 Gen 2 at lower speeds. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports can be used to daisy chain up to five devices. The SanDisk G-RAID Shuttle SSD is preconfigured for use with macOS 10.15 and later, and it can be reformatted for use with Windows 10.
