Streamline storage and speed up workflows with the ThunderBay 4 mini 4-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array and Drive Enclosure from OWC. Featuring four 2.5" SATA drive bays, this enclosure can hold SSDs or HDDs from different brands and with different capacities for easy replacements and upgrades. Two Thunderbolt 2 ports facilitate transfer speeds up to 1346 MB/s, while also allowing you to daisy-chain devices for exponentially faster performance. Utilizing SoftRAID storage management, the ThunderBay 4 mini supports RAID 0, 1, and JBOD modes.
A 60mm cooling fan keeps thermals low, while a locking bay door and Kensington Lock slot can be used to keep storage secure. Furthermore, the aluminum construction provides resilience for daily use. The OWC ThunderBay 4 mini is compatible with Windows 7 and later and macOS 10.12 and later. When using independent volumes, this enclosure is bootable in macOS. Please note, performance may be reduced when using this enclosure with Thunderbolt 1 interfaces.
