This ClingOn Guard single piece from Other World Computing helps protect USB Type-C and Thunderbolt cables from strain and unintentional disconnects. The ClingOn Guard attaches by adhesive to the device that the cable plugs into, securing right over the connector while sitting snug around the cable.

An interior foam lining is what ensures that it sits snug, and reduces wiggling or the chance of slipped connections. The cable can still be pulled out and plugged back in while the ClingOn is attached. The ClingOn is not a cable clamp, but it does minimize the chance of strain and disconnects, especially in cases where the connection is not very strong.
