4TB Mercury Elite Pro Dual USB 3.1 Gen 1 and Thunderbolt 2 RAID

The Mercury Elite Pro Dual Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array from OWC / Other World Computing features two bays that each sport a 2TB hard drive to deliver a total raw capacity of 4TB for your Thunderbolt-equipped system. The two 3.5" hard drives are preconfigured in a hardware RAID 0 array that strips the data across both drives to provide speeds of up to 474 MB/s. You can reconfigure the drives in a RAID 1, SPAN, or individual mode utilizing the hardware RAID controller. Other notable features include an aluminum enclosure and a quiet fan to cool the drives and internal components.

To keep up with the fast transfer speeds from the drives, the dual Thunderbolt 2 ports have a 20 Gbps bi-directional channel for each port. The Mercury Elite Pro also has a USB 3.0 connection for greater compatibility with a wider range of systems. Moreover, Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 cables are included so you can start storing and editing right out of the box.

Dual Drive Hardware RAID
The Mercury Elite Pro Dual with Thunderbolt 2 technology is a suitable RAID solution for creative workflows, project archives, and system backups. Inside are two drives, easily configured in RAID 0, 1, span, or independent mode.
Performance
Thunderbolt 2 technology supports the full potential of two 3.5" hard drives in RAID 0, which offers a maximum sustained throughput speed of up to 474 MB/s. You can also reconfigure the Mercury Elite Pro Dual in a RAID 1 mode to enjoy instant mirroring of your data.
Ready for You Right Out of the Box
The Mercury Elite Pro Dual comes with two Thunderbolt 2 ports, one USB 3.0 port, and all of the cables you need for use with almost any system. Ready to perform in RAID 0, it's also easily configured in RAID 1, span, and independent modes to match your workflow needs.
Thunderbolt 2
With dual Thunderbolt 2 ports, the Mercury Elite Pro Dual supports Thunderbolt daisy-chains that enable you to expand your workstation's capabilities with up to five additional Thunderbolt devices, including high-speed storage, expansion chassis for specialist workflows, and even a high-definition display.
Cooling
The Mercury Elite Pro Dual features a heat-dissipating, brushed-aluminum design with a whisper-quiet, variable-speed fan. In addition, smart power conserves energy and extends the life of the drives inside. The Elite Pro Dual automatically spins down during periods of inactivity, and powers on and off with your workstation.

Return

Most unopened items sold by Melrose Inc. in new condition and returned within 30 days will receive a refund or exchange. The return window for items sold online begins once the order has been invoiced. Invoicing happens when any part of the order is shipped, delivered by a courier service or made ready for pick up.

Software is not returnable and not refundable. All sales are final. This is generally part of all webcarts selling software. It is buyer beware. The reason for this is once an end-user customer sees a License Code then that code is 'spoiled' because they can use it to gain access to the software.  Once a License Code is registered by a customer that product is available to that customer and therefore the code cannot be returned.
